How do I use my computer to create plain-text documents?

In the beginning parts of this course, you will be using basic tools to create your web pages. You will need to do a little configuration to help set your computer up for this.

Using a Mac

You will want to use Textedit if you are using a Mac. Follow these steps for configuring Textedit to code HTML.

Using a PC

You will want to use Notepad if you are using a PC. Notepad is a plain text editor by default.
